High school basketball star achieves impossibly rare feat achieved only once in the NBA by Wilt Chamberlain

Whenever someone's mentioned in the same breath as Wilt Chamberlain it's usually because they've achieved something historic.
The legendary Los Angeles Lakers center holds a number of mind-blowing all-time NBA records - such as being the only player to score 100 points in a single game - that many people deem to be unachievable in today's game.
For example, Wilt is the only player in NBA history believed to have posted a quintuple-double.
A quintuple-double is when a player records at least 10 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, 10 steals, and 10 blocks in a single game - although his record is unofficial as the NBA did not count blocks and steals back in 1968.
However, 'Wilt the Stilt' finally has company in that regard as high schooler Kieonna Christmas recently posted a mythical quintuple-double.
Christmas, a senior at Fonda-Fultonville in New York, finished with 11 points, 20 rebounds, 11 assists, 10 steals, and 10 blocks in a win back in December.

Footage of her recording the historic stat-line was uploaded to social media and fans marvelled at the truly breathtaking achievement.
"No matter what she does after this - her legend isn’t a myth, it’s forever," said one fan.
"From the blood line of Wilt? Just unreal," added another.
"This the holy grail fr," a third wrote.

"I ain’t never heard of no one doing this. She dope fr for this," posted a fourth.
Christmas is part of the Fonda-Fultonville class of 2024 and is listed as a 6ft center/power forward.
Surprisingly, the legendary quintuple-double is a lot more common in the high school game than it is in the NBA and WNBA.
Approximately thirteen high school players have reportedly achieved a quintuple-double over the years.
WNBA legend Tamika Catchings is the first player at any level in history to be officially credited with scoring a quintuple-double (25 points, 18 rebounds, 11 assists, 10 steals and 10 blocks), which she did in high school.
Aquillin Hayes also recorded three quintuple-doubles in 2011.
Only three of the three recorded quintuple-doubles were achieved by male players.
Chamberlain is the only male believed to have achieved the stat-line while only four NBA players in history have ever recorded a quadruple-double (double figures in four statistical categories).
They are:
- Nate Thurmond in 1974: 22 points, 14 rebounds, 13 assists, and 12 blocks
- Alvin Robertson in 1986: 20 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, and 10 steals
- Hakeem Olajuwon in 1990: 18 points, 16 rebounds, 11 blocks, and 10 assists
- David Robinson in 1994: 34 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, and 10 blocks
While a quadruple-double hasn't been seen in the NBA for thirty years, players have come agonisingly close to posting one.
Recently, San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama recorded a 27-point, 14-rebound, 10-block triple-double with five assists - meaning he was just five dimes shy of notching a historic quadruple-double.

The fifth NBA quadruple-double still remains elusive but if anyone can do it it's probably Wemby.
