Tiger Woods confirms relationship with Vanessa Trump but leaves fans confused

Golf legend Tiger Woods has confirmed a romantic relationship with Vanessa Trump.
Rumours have circulated about the sporting icon and Donald Trump Jr's ex-wife after they were spotted together at a golf event.
Fifteen-time major-winner Woods took to social media on Sunday to make it official.
He wrote: "Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy to all those close to our hearts."
The message took many fans by surprise given Woods is not usually one for sentiment on social media.
And the majority of his followers were still left confused by the wording.
The most-liked comment was: "Read this caption 10 times and still trying to figure out what it means."
Another wrote: "I love Tiger but this post confuses me deeply."
And a third put: "Getting married?"
Vanessa Trump, 47, was married to Donald Trump Jr for 15 years, before divorcing in 2018, and the pair have five kids together.
Her daughter Kai is a popular golfer on YouTube and was recently hosted by Woods at the Genesis Invitational.
The 17-year-old also attends The Benjamin School with Woods' children Charlie and Sam.
Woods, 49, is expected to miss the rest of 2025 after undergoing surgery on a ruptured Achilles.
Much of his recent time has been spent in talks over the reunification of men's professional golf, including meetings with U.S president Donald Trump at the White House.
The 47-year-old golfer is a player director on the PGA Tour and it is hoped golf-mad Trump can help inspire a deal with the Saudi Public Investment Fund, who bankroll rival tour LIV Golf.
Speaking at a National Black History Month event at the White House in February, Trump stood alongside Woods and said: “These are the best people Tiger, and we have Adam Scott, winner of the Masters, one of the greatest golfers in the world.
“I’ve always tried to swing just like Adam but it never worked out that way. I just want to thank Adam and Tiger and the commissioner of golf Jay Monahan, head of the PGA, we had some interesting discussions.
“But let me ask you, is there anyone like our Tiger? He’s the greatest.”
Trump then went on to make a bold prediction about Woods’ future in the game, adding: “He's got a long way to go, too. I was with him a week ago, we played. I think he's got some left, Adam doesn't he?
“Couple of majors maybe. Maybe more than that…”
Woods is three short of Jack Nicklaus' all-time record of 18 majors and few expect that to change.
The American has struggled to compete since a near-fatal car crash in 2021.
Even in his prime, Woods' legendary career was hugely disrupted by injury and scandal.
His marriage to Elin Nordegren came crashing down in dramatic fashion after news emerged of Woods' numerous marital infidelities.
In 2009, Nordegren famously chased Woods out of their Florida mansion with a golf club - causing him to crash into a fire hydrant and a tree - which ultimately sparked widespread reporting of the golfer's affairs.
Woods announced an indefinite break from the game to work on his marriage amid one of the most high-profile scandals in sporting history, before the pair officially split in August 2010.
More recently, Woods was at the centre of a messy break-up with Erica Herman - who he dated for five years between 2017 and 2022.
Herman filed a $30million lawsuit, alleging she was unfairly evicted from Woods' home and accusing him of sexual abuse, before later dropping the case and withdrawing her claims.
